Occupational Therapist - Community Care (Leeds City Council)
Join Leeds City Council as an HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist in a community care bed setting. Responsibilities:

  • Undertake complex OT assessments and care planning
  • Deliver outcome-focused interventions to promote independence
  • Complete moving and handling risk assessments and recommend equipment
  • Identify housing needs and support adaptations
  • Maintain accurate case notes and reports
  • Participate in safeguarding investigations and multi-agency meetings

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Experience in community OT, intermediate care, and adaptations
  • Strong communication and risk assessment skills
