Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Join our dynamic MASH Team in Newcastle as a Children's Social Worker (SSW). In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with a range of professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring they have the support and resources they need to thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans that promote positive outcomes. Working closely with partner agencies to coordinate services and support for children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, preferably within a MASH or assessment setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and professionals. Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities, with a sound understanding of safeguarding legislation and practice.
