  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and promoting best practices in child welfare.
  • Building strong relationships with children and young people to support their emotional and social development.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in children's social work, including direct work with children and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child welfare and safeguarding.
