Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing child protection plans in collaboration with families and relevant stakeholders.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and support.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload independently.
