We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Learning Disabilities Team in Slough. In this pivotal role, you will work with adults with learning disabilities, providing support and guidance to enhance their quality of life and promote independence. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to fostering positive outcomes for individuals and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of individuals with learning disabilities.
- Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
- Providing ongoing support, advocacy, and guidance to individuals and their families.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, preferably in a social work setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
