We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Bolton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting their well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by vulnerable adults.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other professionals.
  • Providing support and guidance to individuals to empower them to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and case conferences to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
  • Working within legal frameworks and policies to ensure the safety and protection of vulnerable adults.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in adult safeguarding, assessment, and care planning within a social work setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to assess complex situations and risks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
