Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Working closely with children, families, and other professionals to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care to ensure their welfare and safety.
  • Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting reports as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a corporate parenting context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
