Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work (C&F Team) in Hull, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, agencies, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for children in need. Your expertise will be essential in assessing situations, developing care plans, and providing support to families facing challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing intervention plans that promote safety, stability, and well-being. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when necessary.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a children’s social work setting, ideally within a C&F team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
