Join our dedicated Children's Social Care team in Peterborough as a Qualified Social Worker within the SP - CIC Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in our community. You will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. Your expertise will be vital in conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and reviews of children in care. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly within a looked-after children context. Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload efficiently.
