Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and reviews. Providing guidance and support to families, promoting positive parenting practices. Collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure holistic support. Documenting case progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and policy requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a commitment to best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
