Are you passionate about safeguarding children and making a positive impact in their lives? Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Team Leader for our Safeguarding Team. In this role, you will lead a team of qualified social workers, ensuring the highest standards of care and protection for vulnerable children. You will play a crucial part in developing effective strategies and interventions that support children and families, while promoting their well-being and safety.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance. Overseeing the assessment and intervention processes for children and families in need of safeguarding support. Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Contributing to the continuous improvement of services through effective monitoring and evaluation.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
