We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Plymouth for a Long term Child Protection position. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children at risk
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies
  • Providing direct support and interventions to children and families
  • Attending court hearings and preparing reports as necessary
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
