We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Initial Response Team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and responding to safeguarding concerns, providing support to vulnerable individuals and families, and ensuring the welfare of children and adults at risk.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns Developing and implementing care plans to support service users Liaising with external agencies and professionals to coordinate support services Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences Providing crisis intervention and support to individuals in needEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker (QSW) registration with HCPC Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a social work setting Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to safeguarding and child protection Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex casesAdditional requirements or benefits:
