We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Bradford. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families within the local community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake complex assessments and make informed decisions regarding child protection and welfare concerns Provide expert advice and guidance to junior social work staff within the team Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and families Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirementsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Demonstrable experience working within a Duty and Assessment Team Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions in challenging situationsAdditional requirements and benefits:
