Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding - BANES

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding team in Bath and North East Somerset (BANES).   • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, to ensure effective safeguarding interventions.
  • Providing support and guidance to individuals and their families regarding available resources and services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local and national policies.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work degree and current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a varied caseload effectively.
