As an Adult's Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by vulnerable adults.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Conducting safeguarding investigations in accordance with local and national policies.
  • Providing advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
