We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding team in Bath and North East Somerset (BANES). This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their rights and independence. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement safeguarding measures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk to identify safeguarding concerns. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, to ensure effective safeguarding interventions. Providing support and guidance to individuals and their families regarding available resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local and national policies. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work degree and current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies. Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
