Are you a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker with a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic team at BANES in a role focused on enhancing the lives of those we serve. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community while working collaboratively with families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

As a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Learning Disability & Autism, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of individuals and their families. Developing and implementing personalized support plans that promote independence and well-being. Providing ongoing support and advocacy for clients, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and resources effectively. Monitoring and reviewing client progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.

Join our dedicated team in Bath and North East Somerset as a Qualified Social Worker in the Adult's Locality Team. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to support adults in achieving their best possible outcomes. In this role, you will work collaboratively with service users, families, and multi-agency partners to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to vulnerable adults in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of individuals. Developing, implementing, and reviewing person-centered care plans. Providing direct support and guidance to service users and their families. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local and national standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in adult social work, particularly in a locality setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse individuals. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in adult social care.
