Social Worker - Safeguarding & Assessment - Lincolnshire County

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting risk assessments and developing appropriate safeguarding plans.
- Collaborating with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when required.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and child protection policies, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Essential qualifications and skills include:
- Proven experience in safeguarding and assessment work.
- Ability to engage effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
- Competence in managing a caseload and working independently.
