The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Mental Health Team. This role is vital in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, ensuring they receive the best care and support. As part of our dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other professionals to promote recovery and enhance the quality of life for those in our community.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users’ mental health needs. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users. Providing ongoing support and monitoring progress, adjusting care plans as necessary. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and community organizations. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in adult mental health services, with a strong understanding of mental health legislation. Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a diverse caseload.
