Join our dedicated Children's ATM - Fostering Team in Wrexham, where you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children and their foster families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure that the needs of children in care are met, promoting their welfare and development. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing, planning, and implementing care strategies that enhance the lives of children and their foster placements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify their needs and strengths. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, foster carers, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster families, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to provide high-quality care. Monitoring the progress of children in foster care and making necessary adjustments to care plans. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work degree and a valid Social Work England registration. Proven experience in child protection and fostering services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
