We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's SW - Locality Team in Bedford. This role is essential in providing high-quality support and interventions to adults in need, ensuring their well-being and improving their quality of life. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals, families, and other professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and facilitate access to services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and circumstances.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
  • Providing support and guidance to clients, helping them to achieve their personal goals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have a solid understanding of adult social care legislation and best practices, along with strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with vulnerable adults and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare are essential.
