Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children.
As a member of our CIC Team, your key responsibilities and duties will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care. Working collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support. Providing advice, guidance, and support to foster carers and residential staff. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
