MASH Social Worker - Nottinghamshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH Social Worker to join our team in Nottinghamshire. As a MASH Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and adults by assessing and managing risks effectively.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting in-depth assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within families and individuals.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to develop and implement safeguarding plans.
  • Providing support and guidance to families in crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all involved.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and case conferences to review and evaluate ongoing cases.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience working within a MASH setting, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a focus on prioritizing and managing complex caseloads efficiently.
