Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team in North Yorkshire, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing support to families in crisis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family dynamics.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders.
  • Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
