Join our dynamic Children's Social Work team within the CYPS/Community Team in Liverpool, where you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding the welfare of children and families in our community. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to promote positive outcomes for children. You will collaborate with multi-agency partners, engage with families, and ensure that the rights and voices of children are at the forefront of your practice.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring effective communication and engagement. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development and service delivery.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
