We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Essex. This role is pivotal in supporting children and families facing challenges related to disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and resources they need to thrive. As part of our dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and stakeholders to promote the welfare and development of children with disabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families, providing tailored support and intervention. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and multi-disciplinary teams. Conducting regular reviews of care plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Advocating for children's rights and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies and procedures.To be considered for this position, you must possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, we require:
Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
