Join our dedicated Adult Safeguarding Team in Wirral as an Advanced Practitioner and make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable adults. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading safeguarding assessments, developing and implementing protection plans, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to promote the welfare and safety of adults at risk, providing expert guidance and support to social work practitioners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting complex safeguarding investigations and assessments. Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and students. Developing and delivering training sessions on safeguarding best practices. Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with local and national policies. Engaging with service users and their families to ensure their voices are heard in safeguarding processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and hold a valid Social Work England registration. You should have substantial experience in adult safeguarding and a solid understanding of legislation and frameworks governing adult protection. Key skills required include:

Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Leadership and team management experience. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Are you an experienced social worker seeking to make a significant impact in the community? We are looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join our Adult Safeguarding Team in Wirral. This pivotal role will allow you to lead safeguarding initiatives, ensuring the welfare and protection of vulnerable adults while providing expert guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.

As an Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting complex assessments and developing safeguarding plans tailored to individual needs. Providing supervision and support to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Leading case reviews and audits to enhance service delivery and compliance with statutory requirements. To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years' experience in adult safeguarding or related social work fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with service users and professionals. Proficiency in assessment and intervention techniques, alongside a solid understanding of safeguarding legislation.
