The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children and Families (C&F) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families within our diverse community. As a Children’s Social Worker, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children and promoting their welfare, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are engaged in the process. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for children’s best interests.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
