- Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate successes.
- Conducting regular reviews and assessments of foster placements to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, schools, and external agencies to coordinate care and support for children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legislation and best practice guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in fostering or child protection, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
