Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Oxfordshire and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a qualified and passionate Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will assess the needs of children and families, ensuring that appropriate interventions are in place to support their well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
