The Children's ATM - Family Help & Safeguarding Team in Wokingham is seeking a qualified social worker to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community, providing support and guidance to those in need.
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing intervention plans to support families in crisis. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in line with policy requirements. Providing advice and support to parents and caregivers to enhance family functioning.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in safeguarding contexts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
