The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families within our diverse community. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children, while promoting their development and welfare.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the CIN Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans that promote positive outcomes for children. Working collaboratively with families, external agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate support services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local and national policies. Providing advice and guidance to families and professionals to ensure the best interests of the child are met.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children’s social work, particularly within a CIN context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
