We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work (CP/Assess) Team in Swindon. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a member of our team, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to children and their families, ensuring they receive the best possible services tailored to their needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Engaging with children and families to build trusting relationships.
  • Attending multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should have:

  • Experience in children’s social work, particularly in child protection and assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
