We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locality Senior Social Worker to join our team in Middlesbrough. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to individuals and families within the local community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of service users and developing appropriate care plans
  • Undertaking direct work with service users to support their well-being and independence
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic support for service users
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans
  • Providing guidance and support to less experienced social work staff

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar social work role, preferably within a locality setting
  • Strong assessment and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a demanding caseload
