We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Bury. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to vulnerable children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Assessing the needs and risks of children and families to develop tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Undertaking direct work with children and families to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings as required. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social care setting. Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload. Commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of children and families.Additional requirements and benefits:
