The Bury Family Safeguarding Team is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families to ensure the safety and well-being of children while promoting positive outcomes through effective interventions and support.
As a Children's Social Worker within our Family Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families through comprehensive evaluations and risk assessments. Developing and implementing tailored support plans to address family challenges and improve child welfare. Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate services and interventions for families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
