We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Swindon, focusing on supporting children with disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and their families.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments to determine the needs and risks of children with disabilities. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the specific needs of each child. Working collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare providers and educators, to ensure comprehensive support. Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities within the legal and ethical frameworks. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care and making necessary adjustments to support plans.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker (QSW) registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with children with disabilities in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to children with disabilities.Additional requirements and benefits:
