Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering training and support sessions for foster carers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in line with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within a fostering or children’s services setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with foster carers and children.
  • Proficient in assessment and analytical skills, with a good understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
