Are you a dedicated and compassionate social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families? Northamptonshire County Council is seeking a qualified Safeguarding Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and adults in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of individuals and families. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Demonstrated experience in safeguarding practices and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various agencies.
