Join our Children’s Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Derbyshire, where you will play a crucial role in supporting children with disabilities and their families. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children with disabilities. Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support. Managing a caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of practice. Providing advice and support to families, helping them navigate services and access appropriate resources. Attending multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding policies.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in working with children with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
