Join our dynamic Children with Disabilities team in Derbyshire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of children and young people with disabilities. As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans that promote the well-being and development of children with disabilities. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and support. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them navigate the challenges they face. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
