We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Coventry - AP - LAC/Adoption Social Worker to join our team in the field of Qualified Social Work. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advocating for Looked After Children (LAC) and children in the adoption process.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and creating care plans for Looked After Children and children in the adoption process
  • Providing support and guidance to children and families throughout the adoption process
  • Liaising with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Attending court hearings and meetings to represent the best interests of the children
  • Participating in team meetings and case conferences to review progress and make recommendations

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in LAC and adoption services
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent assessment and report writing skills
