We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our Assessment Team within the Integrated Front Door in Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will play a key part in leading assessments, providing guidance and support to junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need, ensuring that all relevant information is gathered and analyzed.
  • Providing expert supervision and support to social work staff, promoting best practices and professional development.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local policies and statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and support less experienced colleagues.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
