We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Duty & Assessment Team in Rochdale. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families within our community. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual family circumstances. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to safeguard children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments and interventions. Providing advice and support to families, helping them to access necessary resources.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children’s social work, particularly in duty and assessment roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
