Join our dedicated team in Solihull as a Child Protection / Child In Need Social Worker within the AHP field. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate professional to support vulnerable children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in need while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of child protection and child in need cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them access relevant services and resources. Working closely with partner agencies to promote the welfare and safety of children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and child in need assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Proficiency in report writing and case documentation.
