As a Social Worker in the Duty & Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and risk evaluations for children and families in need. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop comprehensive support plans. Providing ongoing case management and support to families, ensuring their needs are met. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and family support. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
