We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our Assessment Team within the Integrated Front Door in Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will play a key part in leading assessments, providing guidance and support to junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need, ensuring that all relevant information is gathered and analyzed. Providing expert supervision and support to social work staff, promoting best practices and professional development. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local policies and statutory requirements. Participating in case reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and support less experienced colleagues. Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
