As a Social Worker within our CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and appropriate interventions.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families, children, and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
  • Managing a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health and education professionals, to promote the best outcomes for children.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
