Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.
  • Providing advice, support, and guidance to families and stakeholders involved in the child’s welfare.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (degree or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework.
