Join our dedicated team at Calderdale as a Front Line Duty Assessment Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children and families in our community. Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of children and families to identify needs and risks. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective intervention strategies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with local authority policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them access necessary resources and services. Participating in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to enhance professional development.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. At least 2 years of post-qualifying experience in children's social work. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting families.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SW - Assessment Team in Yorkshire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and families within our community. As part of our dynamic team, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with families and other professionals to promote positive outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies and care plans. Building strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.
