Cheshire West- Social Worker- Children with Disability Team
Cheshire West is seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children with Disability Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with disabilities and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality support services that promote the well-being and development of children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and appropriate interventions.
- Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development and service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and their families, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, alongside the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for improving outcomes for children with disabilities.
